Expect to be wowed and moved by Alvin's inspirational stories of him overcoming his physical disability. Alvin is expected to provide his inspirational speach for 30 minutes of the 2 hour AGM event. Alvin is an Hall of Fame Speaker who's message is to influence his audience for social change, relationship building, community building, and foster connection with fellow human being. Alvin's perspective of living a disabled life is relevant to his cause being his was born with no arms due to his mother consuming thalidomide which was a none drug to cause deformities in new born babies. Alvin was given up for adoption by his mother and raised in a loving, caring home by his fosther mom who instilled in Alvin that his is meaningful and purposeful encouraged him to not let his disability hinder his aspirations in life. Alvin's no-nonse advice is a clear call to action for all listeners to have hope and being in positively impacting your life and lives of others. With almost 40 years of motivational speaking Alvin is a leader in his field and has expert knowledge that is communicated in an entertaining and engaging way. Come celebrate Cheshire Homes of Saskatoon 50 years of serving Saskatoon providing assisted living for those living with a disability. This free event is being held 6:30pm Tuesday May 26 at Royal Canadian Legion 3021 Louise St Saskatoon. There is limited seating, so please RSVP.
