Resident Council

The Cheshire Homes Residents Council was established in 1997 to represent the collective interests of the residents at Cheshire. The Council's primary focus is to communicate with management and provide a voice and a forum for meaningful resident input into the operations of Cheshire Homes. The Council also undertakes fundraising activities and manages the bank accounts which the homes may use to purchase extra items for the benefit of the residents. Elections are held annually to select a group of seven residents who will serve as representatives for the year. Those who are elected then determine who will serve in the executive positions. For the term running from July 2011 – June 2012 the Council members are:
